Hi!
I'm selling the first Zia bass made by JP Basses
A one of a kind instrument, unique... Body: Alder with Flamed Maple Top and Black Line veener between body and top. Neck: One piece Paduak Fingerboard: Gaboon Ebony with Paduak binding (+ brand new macassar ebony ramp). Tuning: B E A D G C F String Spacing: 16.5mm Pickups: Dual Coils JP Basses Preamp: John East, Volume, 4 position dingwall pot, Bass, Trebles, brightness. Active/Passive Switch, Brightness On/Off Switch. Gig bag: Ritter Gigbag Soundclip: http://jeromewolf.free.fr/download/melancolie.mp3
Made by The previous owner, Jerome Wolf, aka jojobas. Pictures: Recent pictures: Price: €2800 (shipping not included) – $4500 USD
The bass is in mint condition. Bought the 1st April of 2006 (No jokes there!) during the Jean Baudin Master Class in Paris. It plays awesome thanks to the Headless/Bolt On construction, giving it a special feeling due to string tension. Trades: As I know what I want, here's what I'm looking for! I'm going to do some special treatments, depending on what you have to offer! (and want to!)
I'm looking for:
MTD 535 - Tulipwood body, Wenge/Wenge Neck.
F Bass BNF5.
F Bass AC5.
F Bass BN5 Neck Thru.
Dingwall ABII 5
Dingwall Prima Artist 5
Fodera Imperial 5 (depending on wood combos!)
I can accept to make a bass/bass exchange depending on what you offer. With no money addition from your part!
I can add money if needed (For Foderas, Dingwall Prima, etc…..)
I will consider every offers, I'm "open minded", let me hear from you!
Also, if you have something high end different and want to offer, we can do it too!!!! I'll consider it anyway, you know my preferences! Reason: The thing is, I have to be honest and let my pride aside, I can’t play 7 strings, I don’t have the needed skills for that, despite the huge interest I have for those playing that kind of instruments. My thing is 5 strings… So stocking, without playing it and letting the bass getting dust (that’s an image, it’s well protected in its Ritter Gigbag) is not what I want.
The bass has been controlled and updated by JP last September 2007. The bass has been set up, strings have been changed and preamp have been updated. It’s in a mint condition, few played by myself, but strings are still new since September 2007. The ramp has been added
I’ll sell with the bass: Set of SIT Strings, Comfort Strapp and the pot with ken Smith oil for oiling neck and body of the bass.
Thanks
Vincent

The bass is still available, soon to be tryable in Paris.
I'd like to sell it quickly, as I need to buy furniture for my future flat. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
