FS/FT Lakland Darryl Jones 5 Ash Lake Placid Blue, Nordstrands w/J-Retro Pre

Hey guys, I have an oustanding bass for sale. It's a 2008 Lakland Darryl Jones 5 (Lake Placid Blue with rosewood fingerboard and flat sawn maple neck) string bass with some nice additional features. I installed the John East J-retro(DJ) preamp and a set of Nordstrand NJSE pickups. This Bass has a huge sound that will cut through any mix. The bass balances very well with no neck drive weighing in at 9.8lbs on my digital scale. The condition of the bass is excellent with no dings or scratches. This bass also has a string through body for those who like a tighter string tension. The low B is thunderous do to the 35" scale the basses' natural sustain. Sometimes I tune to a low A, it handles the drop tuning very well with definition and clarity. I could keep going on and on about this bass... so here are the pics

additional specs: nut width 1.8", string spacing .75"

I emailed a couple pics. Let me know if you want/need more. I'm going to be leaving town in a couple days and would have to get a friend or family to help me with the deal.

Coming to Nashville. If anyone visits, you might see it on lower broad or me on the road. Thanks Jordan for being great to work with.

Just curious. You like the Fender better than the lakland?

34 inch vs. 35 inch?? It's a good way to start an argument when 5 string bass players get together!!!
