For Sale: Lakland Darryl Jones "AC" model

Sign in to disble this ad
I got this bass in this thread:

FS LAKLAND Skyline Daryl Jones 4/ mint condition!

This is the rarer of the DJs. Bass was Plek'd, I currently have it strung w/ Lakland flats which will be removed before selling (i have too much good finger grease in them). I just finished a recording session with it and it sounded amazing. Bass is in wonderful condition. Close to mint, no serious chips or dings at all.

Ive come to realize I like the body shape more on a traditional jazz bass, just my thing. I have bought a Joe Osborn and this bass needs to go. $930 shipped conus in a gig bag.

Rarer how? I'm new to Laklands and still familiarizing myself with them. Being discontinued, there's no DJ info on their site, so what exactly is the "AC" model?

Thunder Pulse, the "AC" model stands for Adam Clayton, U2's Bassist. This color scheme was made for him, and the skyline basses were made in much more limited quantity than the other color choices for the Darrly Jones bass.

So it's the AC 'finish' but it's still a DJ model? (just a dumb question from the uninitiated)
