FS/FT Lakland Skyline 44-01 w/Chi-Sonics + LH3

This bass started my Lakland obsession, but I can't get used to the nut width. I'm just a Jazz neck guy apparently, so it gets no play time. The previous owner had Chi-Sonic pickups and an LH3 preamp installed by Pat Wilkins. The finish is a limited edition blue with quilt top, and it weighs in around 9 lbs. using the trusted "bathroom scale" method. It's in amazing condition, and I've only taken it out for a few rehearsals. Otherwise, it sits on a stand in my smoke-free home.

I'm asking $750 shipped CONUS only, in a Pro-Tec Contego gig bag.

Trade list includes US Laklands, Sadowsky, Nordstrand, Vintage style Fenders. I'm open to considering anything that is a 4 string with a jazz neck.

Just got this exact same bass only difference is barts instead of chi's...... great price on a killer bass!

You could get a j neck for the bass....assuming you like everything else about it

Lakland will sell a direct replacement for a 44-01 with a 1.5 nut? I didn't think that would be an option. I figure a custom neck for a skyline might be a bit of effort and time, but I'll shoot them an email. Still entertaining sale/trade offers in the meantime. Thanks basspraiser!

I think I found a skyline 44-60 to satisfy me for now. Probably looking for a straight sale now.

As previous owner of ths bass, I completely vouch for the quality of tone, fit/finnish, and integrity of the seller. Very nice bass bump.
