OK, this bass is as good as they come, but I'm really wanting to make a run at the DPLE Glaub in these classifieds...
This is a 2003 44-02 deluxe which has just had a new neck put on it at the factory and completely set up there. It wears a set of Basslines pick ups, but I believe it is the original Bartolini pre-amp. It plays like a dream, but I am really looking to move to a Glaub. So... cash or trades, make me an offer!! $950 shipped in a gig bag for a sale!!

This used to be my old bass, (in fact, the last couple pictures are mine.) and damned if it's not a GREAT one! The basslines are a little beefier than the barts, and really compliment it well, at least IMO.

After reading JoshB's post I realized I owned this bass for a while too. The Basslines sound very beefy and big. Very cool bass.

It's like a 44-02 with Barts on steroids. Similar tone, but much more aggressive.

Go on and get that MM, I have an '02 that my wife a kids gave me new for my birthday that is one of the 'take it to the grave' basses. I love it too!!
If somebody pulls the trigger on this one, I'll be back to take the 55-02 off your hands!!
