FS/FT - LAKLAND Skyline DJ4 - LPB w/ Maple Board

***TRADED***TRADED***TRADED***TRADED***

So, I just traded for this last week and the GAS has always got the best of me. I figured I would offer this up to see whats out there before I flood my normal amount of $$$ and mods into this DJ4.

PRE-PLEK 2007 KOREAN DJ4 with Lakland Jazz Pick-ups.

The one ding in the LPB finish is shown in the photo. There are several "imperfections" in the LPB paint under the clear-coat, but you have to study the bass on a bench under a glass to find them. Minimal fret wear. When I received the bass, there were roughly 10-12 marks on the back of the neck. I wouldn't consider them dings, as I could not photograph them. Looks like the bass was regularly propped up against an SKB rack or something to that effect, instead of a guitar stand . So, they were little 1/8" lines. You could barely feel them with your thumb if you ride your thumb right down the middle of the back of the neck, which I never do. I used #0000 Steel wool for an afternoon, and now the neck is as good if not better than most of the "mint condition" basses I have traded for thus far on TB.

G&G Blonde molded HSC with orange interior. Re-Strung with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys (45-105).

$950 $900 shipped in G&G Hardshell.

I am sitting firm in the EBMM & Humbucker camp these days. So, if you have a Sterling or a Ray, hit me up. Bring G&L's as well. (no Tribute's please) I don't do rosewood boards. Would consider a maple neck BigAl with some $$$ on my end. I already have a MIA Fender Jazz, so I am not looking for another one of those. (unless it's Charcoal Frost Metallic)

Basically, if it has FOUR STRINGS and a 1-1/2" nut on a maple board...Lets Talk. HS or HH pickups are a big plus!!

Great bass!
Are you sure they Aeros? I believe Lakland stopped using them a year earlier.
It's easy to check, just take a look at the lead wires. If they are black and white plastic covered wires, then they are Aeros.

I stand corrected...

Black/Red wires for neck PU.
Black/Green wires for bridge PU.

Lakland Jazz PU's, not AERO PU's.

Cheap...

$900 Shipped to CONUS.
Trades welcome for about another week.

If nobody wants it by the time I get back from Winnipeg, I am ordering DiMarzio's, USA Hipshots, a pick-guard from Jeannie's and keeping it for a while.
