FS/FT Lakland Skyline DJ5

Sign in to disble this ad
I traded for this bass a few months ago. I was looking for a passive 5 string jazz bass. This is a great sounding and playing instrument. Just got a few too many jazz instruments.

Not sure what I'm looking for but would like a non jazz style instrument (unless it's fretless).

Tops for trades are:
Millenia TD1 preamp
Yamaha TRB (older one with Piezos)
Mac Laptop
Dingwall Combustion
Fretless 5 string
Peavey Cirrus 5 or 6 (USA Model)

Could combine an Epifani Quest preamp for something a little more expensive

Sale price is $1000 shipped.

It matches my '68 jazz... Also, I believe the pickups are Lakland pickups not Aeros. This bass was made in '08 and I think al DJ5 were using the Lakland pickups

I have a Lakland 44-02 deluxe with maple fingerboard I've been thinking about trading. If that interests you let me know and I can send pics. It's got the LH3 pickups and the Bart pre. Very nice player and sounding but I've found myself to be pretty much a J only guy. It's a 4 string. I'd say shape wise it's around a 9.

Thanks for the offer... I've owned a few '02s. Great basses! I'll have to pass at this time.

Not a problem. I'm certainly not anxious to get rid of it, just really like the DJ. Good Luck.

Actually, these should be Lakland pups. They made the switch from Aeros in '07.

I can personally vouch for this. It's a great instrument for sure.

Good guy to deal with as well.
