Why do I do it.....

I know I don't like 35" scale. I've tried it before. Yet, this is such a fantastic bass that I talked myself into buying it. After a 4 hour gig, however, I remember why I prefer 34" scale. So, this needs to go.

Up for sale is a BRAND NEW Lakland Skyline DJ 5 in LPB. This bass is passive and comes with the Lakland single coils. I bought this bass 5 weeks ago from The Low End. It has been gigged exactly one time and has no nicks, dings are scratches. I have added Dunlop straplocks and copper shielding in the control cavity.

This bass was built in 2009 and was plek'd at the factory. The setup on this bass is the best I've ever owned. I actually had to RAISE the bridge saddles to suit my playing style, but this bass is capable of very low action for you soft touch guys.

Sale: $1,000 shipped in the lower 48 via UPS insured for the purchase price. Paypal ok. No international sales.

the metal flake is killer!!!! really!

as of now, Lakland is no longer making DJs......get one of the few "new ones" left....

I have a Tobias Growler 5er but I think it's a 35" scale. I really dig the color and matching headstock. Hmmm.

It totally kills me that these are 35"/19mm basses. Somebody please snatch this up before I make the same mistake that Guy made.
