Got this in a trade last week...I honestly can't make up my mind about this bass...it plays great- but it was kind of an experiment on my part after years of spectors and active basses, I thought I might enjoy going back to the simplicity of one pickup no preamp etc...Alas..passive is not my thing....so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to buy her or swap, before I started tossing in a preamp etc..
Bass is nice and light has Fraling pickup which isn't the warmest P I have ever heard but is nice and clear and gets a great top end. as I mentioned the neck is just plain killer....low action no dead spots etc... has fret FX LEDs installed and comes with a Lakland case.
My ideal trade would be a Lakland 5502 or 4402 - I don't care for the 01 series thanks...or a Yamaha Attitude Plus ...I love 80's era axes, active jazzes, spectors etc so I'd certianlly consider other offers as well..
