FS/FT- Lakland US Glaub with Darkstar- $1500

I just got this 2 days after Christmas. I'm just not feeling the Darkstar.
When I did this deal I had a specific bass in mind, but I could not pass this up.

Lakland US Bob Glaub w/ Dark Star Pick Ups

According to Laklands site, this is a 2005.
It is Candy Apple Red with a "Dotless" rosewood fingerboard.
Standard P width, 1 3/4.
The headstock is red also....only slightly darker then the body.
Comes in at about 9lbs
Story has it this bass was made for Greg Rzab.

Comes with a brown/tan G&G case. The middle latch is broken, but the outer ones work just fine.

I'll send you a PM. Something to consider. Buy a Lakland replacement pickguard cut for a P Bass pickup. The hole routed for the dark star might allow for a direct drop in for a nice boutique P pickup Fralin, Norstrand, etc. Either keep or sell off your dark star and or original pickguard and "wah lah"! Your Lakland will be what your probably want it to really be. (If the body needs a little routhing for the P pickup, no biggie! The replacement pickguard with cover it up.)

You are correct on all accounts.
I'm also looking for the cash, as I have the opportunity to buy back a bass I sold over three years ago. That is my biggest motivation to sell.
