The person that bought the bass, let's say, "backed out" so, it's up for grabs again.
The bass plays and sounds great!
I purchased this from a guy that works for Lakland and this was one that he had done up special. The electronics are passive and he had the V/V/T knob configuration (which I prefer) rather than the stacked pots. And yes, it is a USA JO.
The bass itself is in very good condition except for a little bit of finish ware on the bottom curve of the body and there is a spot on the back of the bass where there was a ding, dang, dent, pock, etc that he was in the middle of have touched up when I bought the bass. (PLEASE SEE PIC)
You can see a dark spot in the pics which is from a marker, where he (for some reason) highlighted the boo-boo to be fixed I guess. I do not know the back story on the mark however, it is what it is in the picture. Nothing more, nothing less. The bass is structurally, functionally, and with the exception of the mark, in very good condition. it plays, sounds and for the most part looks great. (Look at the pics. . . .) I just want to be open about the bass to prevent any confusion.
The bass comes with the original Lakland cream case which, being basically an off-white color and having actually been used, is a bit banged up but works fine and looks pretty good.
The bass weighs about 9 lbs according to the old bathroom scale so, we'll call that an approximate weight. The following pics should answer some of the PM questions.
Because of the cosmetic spot on the back, I'm only asking $1700 outright plus shipping.
Also have a very nice ACG Recurve up for sale too.
