This was previously listed FS only here: FS: Laurus Quasar T400 Grafite 6 string fretless
I'm now entertaining trades as well (see below).
Up for sale is my Laurus Quasar 6 string fretless. I'm asking $1500$1400 shipped in the CONUS. International peeps, PM me and we can talk about it.
The bass is in great shape. You can find more pictures, a write up, and sound clips for the bass here that will likely answer most of the usual questions: Laurus Quasar T400 Grafite 6 string fretless bass review :Trya
It will be shipped in its tailor-made soft/gig case and well packed. Certainly hit me up with questions if you don't find the answers on my site above.
As for trades; they are contingent on whether or not I've traded or sold my other bass that I'm selling here (FBB Lupis, sale pending). Basically, I need to sell at least one of them, so I can only make one trade. Basses I'm only looking for 6 string (or greater) fretless UNLINED basses. As it turns out, I'm buying an Aria 6 from a member here.
The only fretted bass I can think of that I'd maybe want is a Warwick Dolphin.
Also, not that I think anyone would trade, but I'd be VERY interested in a Veillette fretless; Paris, MK IV, Archtop, etc. I have an older MK IV 5 fretless that I adore, and I'd like to get another (preferably a 6). Cabs I'm interested in larger sized cabs, 4 ohms. I'd love to get some more Schroeder cabs, like 1215's or something. Ideally something that I could throw at least 600W @ 4ohms into and is voiced well for an ERB. I've just landed some Schroeder's from a member here, so I'm all set in the cab department now.
Thanks for looking!

Just my opinion: you might try and dig up some links for some more juicy fretless tones than the ones in the Trya clips. The tone in those clips doesn't seem to take advantage of the great fretless possibilities of these basses.
As well, it is a little confusing advertising it as graphite. Lots of basses have graphite bars in the neck construction. This neck is wood, Do you mean the resin fingerboard by "grafite" ?
This looks like a great deal. Good luck with the sale. |
