A bit of a feeler as I am scrounging money up for mothers day. This is also available on my local Craigslist site, and I am getting some offers there also (just a heads up).
$625 or best offer shipped anywhere in the US via UPS (payment via paypal)
Would also accept a Peavey T40+cash
Up for grabs is a Hondo II Rickenbacker copy that works 100%. I think it looks great for its age, and its a bit road worn with some wood showing in some places, but its tasteful, and it still has the model number sticker on the neck plate. Just looking at it makes you want to play it and you wont be disappointed when you pick it up! The sound is indescribable and the bridge even has the built in mute!
The bad:
This bass needs to be set up to be 100% accurate sound wise. Its still very playable as is and has a few month old Daddario strings.
This bass has a string retainer which isnt shown in pictures. I can be removed by two screws if desired (they go through the truss rod cover)
I have to thin out the herd since Ive spent more time buying basses than playing them. Also, Mothers day is coming up and Id like to get my Mom an awesome gift. You can tell from the soundclips I dont play very much as I recently found out that you are not supposed to play directly on top of the fret, (which is the buzzing you hear)
