SOLD
Selling my big ugly stick. It's actually quite nice looking, but I just don't play it anymore since I got my Warwick. So out the door it goes.
It's a bit aged as these were discontinued some years ago. It lived in a local guitar shop for several years. I would play it from time to time, but the price was never right until two years ago the owner asked me what it would take to finally get me to buy the damn thing because he was sick of looking at it. I told him I knew how long it had been there and that every kid that walked in the door saw it and beat on it, so it was gonna need some work. We came to an agreement and I took it straight to John Dajos of Dajos Guitars (
http://www.dajosguitar.com) and let him show me everything that is wrong about mass produced instruments. He did a full setup, levelled and crowned the frets, and installed a beautiful bone nut to replace the cheap hollow plastic one. He was actually very impressed with the inlay work.
For the last two years I have gigged this bass quite a bit, but it doesn't show much wear at all. I don't pound on my instruments and I keep it clean. It presently has a set of DR Hi Beams, the low 4 strings from a 5 string set, with a .130 B, .105 E, .85 A, and .65 D. String tension is excellent and the action is medium low. I have a knicked and scratched Rockcase hardcase that I keep it in that will be included along with a Dimarzio strap lock system, the kind with the plastic clips, and a couple of microfiber cloths to keep it clean.
The following stats are all correct and straight from the website:
5-piece Maple/Walnut Neck
This neck design provides a very solid feel and an improved transfer of tone from the neck to the body. Increased neck stability and performance will mean less frequent truss rod adjustments
Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.
EMG Pickups
Each EMG bass pickup is created for its unique sound quality and includes features from over 25 years of EMG's design experience. Players all over the world agree that EMG is the leading authority in pickup technology.

Possible trades I would be interested in would be a wenge neck Warwick 'vette or Streamer, Spector, or even possibly another LTD besides the F series, maybe a similarly equipped B series. Let me know what you have, I just might be interested.
