Next, the MIA Fender Deluxe Precision Bass, what was supposed to be my baby...I'm really le down that it didn't work out between this one and I. I dreamt about this bass for ages, jumped on it when this deal came around, and since owning it, it just hasn't been the bass I dreamt of. Don't get me wrong, this thing plays like a dream. It is THE best playing bass I have ever held, and it sounds great. It just doesn't sound like 'the one' for me, and once again, I struggle with the long scale and thick neck. This one has some player wear, which is well documented in the original thread links that I'm about to provide, and the weight being 8 pounds is no joke. The only issue that was not documented is that something is up with the EQ pots on the preamp. Sometimes it is dead quiet, sometimes it is a little buzzy. Either way, the price I bought it at was still a steal and I'll be passing that saving on to the next lucky dude/chick.
