FS or FT Mike Lull PJ5 Burst/RW
Got the itch to try something new in a five-string, so my one fiver is going up on the block.
Selling price is $1650 shipped within North America, will not ship outside Of there, sorry.
Trades of interest:
Other Lull 5 strings, preferably 34 inch scale.
Sadowsky metros, preferably 34 inch scale.
You can run other ideas by me, like Spectors, Laklands, but I'm mostly interested in 34inch scale, and don't be offended if I'm pretty picky.
Here's the goods on this bass:
Alder body in classic sunburst with tort pickguard
Graphite reinforced maple neck, very comfy and broken in
35" scale, rosewood fingerboard, very pretty grain
neck is 1 7/8" wide at the nut
Pickups are Seymour Duncan's wound to Mike's specs
Controls are V V T, all passive.
Volume pots were swapped out by previous owner to 500K, and I will include original pots in the deal.
Aluminum bridge and bone nut.
Currently strung with rounds that I can't recall of which mfg.
Includes a generic roadrunner style molded hard case that is fully
This bass, like all of Mikes basses, is light, 8.2 lbs.
It's a player, not a museum piece, with a few bumps (only one that is big enough to photograph). Condition is 8.5/10.
35" scale, right?
yes, meant to add that, so I will now. thanks.
I had one of these in Ash/maple that I regretfully sold not too long ago. My one gripe was that it was a bit bright sounding. If you subscribe to the theory that woods do make a tonal difference (which I do) this thing would be perfect!
Great playing, lightweight, stable neck and the 35" scale was more comfy than many 34" I've played. Good luck with the sale!
Bump for an awesome bass and an excellent guy!
Bump for a great seller!
And sold, closing thread
