For Sale or Trade:
1999 MIM Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe with a 1996 Fender MIM Black Label Neck.
It’s completely stock and in great shape. Sounds fantastic and needs nothing. The original neck cracked from the truss rod nut being over tightened. I can include the cracked neck if the new buyer wants it (sorry no tuners included).
The previous owner did have Dimarzio pickups in it but is has been changed back standard MIM Jazz pups. The wiring is fine and there are no issues but I wanted to disclose that it was modded at one point. Brand new Dunlop strings on it. Very little fret wear. Truss rod works great and has no issues. The gloss on the back of the neck has been knocked down with some fine steel wool and is nice and smooth (don't worry the original poly is still there it's just not as glossy and sticky feeling).

Weight: 9.5lbs (bathroom scale)
SKB hard case and Dunlop strap locks included.

Trade Bait: Only looking for 5-strings. G&L L2500 Tribute, Yamaha's, or something different. I'm not interested in any Ibanez or Fenders (sorry already have them). The only 4-string I would be interested in a Music Man SUB.

It's got some dings and dents that have been filled with super glue but feels nice and smooth. It just took me a long time to find one of these necks and i'm not sure I want to part with it yet. |
