1998 Black Sparkle Modulus Flea Bass with Lane Poor pickup and Bartolini preamp. Most of you know how hard it is to find any Flea with a LP, but the 5’s are really few and far between. The finish on this one isn’t as over the top as the blue and silver big flake finishes, but it has a little flash.
Bass is in good shape, but it has been played. There are a few scuffs in the finish that are almost impossible to capture in a photo due to the sparkle finish. Nothing through the finish. Frets are great, neck is perfect, and it's overall really nice for a 13 year old bass. Wow, can't believe it has been 13 years since 1998! Bottom line is it's no closet queen, but a very nice bass you can take out to play. I've played the other pickup combinations in these, and this Lane Poor is really dynamic. Big deep bottom, snarly mids, and sweet, funky highs. Jimmy Walker Dyno-Mite Certified Tone!
