I'm not a huge "Jazz" guy and the Carvin SB4000 I just traded for does the Jazz thing close enough for my tastes. I think I really traded for this bass due to the 5A quilt top - and - quilt fingerboard! I've never seen another fingerboard that looks this good!
I guess this bass got known around here as ORANGE CRUSH. The orange (almost red) finish is astonishing!
Newer headstock design, so it can't be that old!
Bass is in CLOSE TO MINT condition, with just a few shallow fingernail scratches under the G-string from slapping. No dings, wear or real scratches. Comes in the Modulus hard case.
Has the Bart pickups and 2-band Bart preamp.
Weight - under 9 pounds (easily).
Plays and sounds incredible. Anyone looking for a great Jazz bass can't possibly be disappointed in this bass.
I keep to a semi-strict bass quota - so if I want to try something else - something has to go - so....
Trade value: $1,500
