FS/FT Modulus Quantum 6

This has been a very hard decision because this is the finest bass I have ever touched, but as it turns out I'm just not a 6 string guy. Modulus Quantum 6, Bartolini M56C pup's, Aguilar OBP-3 pre, Chechen fingerboard, 5A Honeyburst. This is a truly amazing playing and sounding bass (I understand the price now), enough said. Comes with Modulus hard shell case, tools and manual. If you can't tell by the pictures this bass is in NEW condition (the plastic is still on the cavity cover). The price is $2300.00 plus shipping to CONUS only, (I would be willing to drive 1-2 hours to meet someone). As far as trades go, the only bass I have interest in is a Modulus Quantum 5 plus a little cash. I have had more compliments on my sound with this bass by far, I am now a Modulus kinda guy.

Wieght is 9.5-10.0 lbs., it's a 2006, the history on this bass is as follows. A guy bought it new at the Atlanta Bass Gallery, he passed away a couple of days later and his mother I believe found it when she was cleaning out his apartment. She found the receipt from the bass gallery in the case and took it down there at some point for them to sell on consignment. I don't know how much time passed during all that, but I do know Jim had it for sale in the store about 10 months before I bought it, I have had about 8 months, so it hasn't seen much playing time, and is in amazing condition, just like the day it was sold new. Modulus even let me fill out the warranty registration card and send it in, I thought that was very cool of them. I am trying to get more pics up, I just have to figure out the problem I am having getting them to upload, thanks for the interest.

This is by far the best sounding combination of woods, pickups and preamp on these basses. The Chechen board really tames the Modulus sterility and the preamp is SO musical. Great bass! Best of luck with the sale.
