Up for sale/trade is my recently acquired 1990 Modulus Quantum 6. I wanted one of these for years and finally got the chance to purchase one last week. Unfortunately, it just does not seem to be the right bass for me tonally. Which is kind of sad, considering how amazing it is in every other aspect. Being from 1990, it does not have a truss rod but this isn't an issue as the neck is perfectly straight. The neck is nice and flat and extremely comfortable and of course, being a Modulus, it has very low action. The Khaler bridge is incredibly adjustable in every aspect. The body is finished in a beautiful deep greenish-blue over quilted maple and is probably the most beautiful Quantum I have ever seen. The bass has 2 EMG 45DC pickups and a 2 band active EMG preamp. It is in quite good condition for a 21 year old bass, having only the bumps and dents you would expect from a gigged bass. It is strung with a brand new set of D'Addario strings and weighs just under 10lbs on my bathroom scale.
Looking for $1600 $1500 $1400 + shipping or a trade for just about any bass (no amps/cabs). Throw anything my way; the worst I can do is say no.

I used to own a 1990 Quantum 5 burst that went from turquoise to blue to purple on the edges...should've NEVER sold it.
Wish I could justify a 6, 'cause if this were a 5, I'd be seriously tempted!
