They keep making bridges with more mass for added sustain, just wondering if cutting a chunk out of the body directly under the bridge would affect anything. |

I have one of their active basses wit the same pickups, and it has killer tone. I think the idea of have a lot of mass on the bridge it to help transfer the vibration to the wood body.
