Mike personally confirmed that it is an ash neck over the phone. Also, from the grain/appearance of the wood, it is pretty obvious that it is an ash neck. |

Bump.... | I don't have a highly accurate scale, but my travel scale says it's approx. 9.5 lbs. As I mentioned earlier, the balance on this bass is great - no neck or body dive. If you take your hands off the bass, it stays exactly where it was. |
