Here's a real beauty. I think this was one of Mike's NAMM basses in 2004, and for good reason. My favorite MTD wood combo so far; this one is warm and smooth, but still has plenty of MTD snap and sizzle. This is an all purpose MTD, IMO and I don't think all of them are. This bass will work on any gig. Sort of on the fence about letting it go, but I really want to pickup a nice 6. Here's the details:
- Alder Body
- Maple Burl Top
- Maple Neck
- Mac Ebony Fretboard
- 19mm Spacing
- 35" scale
- 8.5 pounds
- MTD Zero Gravity Case
- Excellent Condition
$2650 (eCheck or MO) shipped or trade for MTD/Roscoe 6 string only. No other trade offers, PLEASE. |

Based on my experience with a pretty special alder/rosewood 535, I can only guess how good this one must sound. FWIW...I agree; rare is the MTD that can cover versatile ground...and when you find one, it's VERY special. All the best with the sale/trade. |

Did I read that correctly? You are stepping up to a 6'er? The first 6 string bass I feel in love with was a Roscoe SKB. Oh and the second 6'er I feel in love with was a Zon.

I've really not been inspired to play lately, so I'm hoping the challenge of a 6 will get me going again.
All PM's have been replied to. Guys, the trades I have listed are the ONLY trades I'm interested in. Sorry. |

I'd hate for this bass to leave the state... |
