Yea....it's somewhat of an enigma....but I think the economy has something to do with it. Good news is that for those of you on the fence, you still have time.......I've got a few people checking it out here this weekend, but it'll go fairly soon.

It does have a more subdued MTD tone.....it's still very piano like....but warmer and more organic then most. Bright, snappy, and clear as a bell. I love this bass. Why am I selling it?

Dan, I gotta say first off that your music is fantastic. Wow!

As for the bass, I hope you sell it. I once played a test mule that Mike was working with, and it was Ash...I think it may have been one of his first Ash basses (many years ago). It had a huge cavity in the middle, because he was sliding the pickup around, experimenting. I didn't care that it looked like ass, and offered to buy it on the spot. Amazing bass! He wouldn't let me have it.

If anyone is on the fence about an Ash bass from Mike, you're on crack. BUY IT!

I would if I had the cheese...
