FS/FT MTD (import) Artist 5

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!!! TO a Tx Tber. Thanks Max.

I have a real nice clean, condition Artist 5, Candy Apple Red w/matching headstock, figured maple board. Has a single AERO Humbucker pup, ( it alone costs $225), really gives this bass some big, powerful punch and tone. Its passive with V/T knobs.

Has MTD features such as asymetrical neck, zero fret but not Buzz-Feiten tuning. Comes with a gigbag; $435 shipped within Con-US. Well I tried to post pics but says file is too large. If you wanna see pics I have a few, pls PM your email address and I'll reply with them. May trade for a nice 115 or 210 cab. But prefer to sell it off. **NEW & IMPROVED:NOW WITH PICS-SEE BELOW!!!!

I believe these are designed by Michael Tobias and made in Korea. I've had several Korean made MTD's both passive and active and they are pretty sweet ergonomically, nice asymmetrical necks, 19mm/ 3/4" spacing and a great platform for modding. My two cents worth... (mtcw)

Damn, Funkboy5...

I may have to kick you over a service fee $ for your posting of pics and your informative bumps here if/when the bass sells. But I'll just thank you for now. Thanks!

And if you can see in the headstock pic a little, when the lights hit the red color it takes on more of a metalflake, dark orange color, pretty cool. So it aint just your typical "red bass" color. I'm not real wild about red basses but somehow I own 3 of em.

save me,,,,

Im about to go buy a used 1x15 cab locally Friday. I'd rather deal with a TBer, so if you got a 1x15 cab ya wanna swap for my bass, bring it on. I can kick in some bucks too to make the deal happen for those more pricey cabs. One TBer asked me to drive to TN to make the swap...oooh, No Se Puede, just can't get away anytime soon.

I am retired and could dig a nice, long drive but suddenly I got gigs booked for the next several weekends.

Stupid economic recovery.

HMMM,,,

.....didn't go buy local 1x15 cab afterall, still trying to work a trade or outright sale here.

Make a cash offer if ya want for this very lightweight, big sounding bass, double-boxed n ready to ship.

Bu-Bump, Bu-Buy, Bu-Bass... Bu-Bye!

Tuesday bump..

may also consider trades (+ cash from me, if needed) for a unlined, fretless 5er.

But cabs or cash still on table. Thanks.
