I bought this bass in October of 2010 so less than a year of part-time play.
This is a fully upgraded MTD KZ5 (Kingston Zephyr)
Maple Neck, Mahogany Body with Burled Maple Top
35" Scale,19mm string spacing, SWEET TONE. and the Michael Tobias Growl in spades. Only thing I didn't change was the Gotah Tuners which are just fine, and have Great hold. Looking over this entire bass I only found 2 small 1/16th inch dings on the back,The front is spotless. and the electronics compartment cover is not perfectly flat, its has a lil wave in it. Not a big deal at all and I never notice it because its slight.
