FS/FT: Music Man and Pedulla basses

Sign in to disble this ad
All prices include shipping in the 48 states only, you cover the extra costs for elsewhere.

I might be interested in these possible trades only (+/- cash):
-Lakland Joe Osborn or Darryl Jones 5 string with rosewood board only, Lake Placid Blue and Candy Apple Red preferred.
-MusicMan Bongo single H 4 string fretted, must be less than 9 lbs.
-Epifani series 1 UL-112 cab in very good condition.
-MusicMan Sterling HH in Dargie Delight green, must be under 9 lbs.

First is a classic MusicMan Sterling with the single humbucker from 2004. This is a really nice bass that sounds and plays great. Condition is super clean except for a tiny ding on the back of the body, frets are in great shape and action is medium low. The body finish is called Desert Gold and it looks a bit brighter in person, the pickguard is white pearloid. Weight is little too much for me at 10.2 lbs, that's why I'm selling. Comes in the clean OHSC.

Price is $850 SOLD

Second is a nice MusicMan Bongo with dual humbuckers and the fairly rare piezo bridge. I wanted to try a Bongo with the piezo bridge and while it sounds great it's not really my thing. Condition is very good but it has a number of small dings and scrapes on the body and neck. Nothing major but you can tell it's been played, there's also some minor chipping of the clearcoat along the side of the fingerboard. The frets are in great shape and action is medium low. The body finish is called Candy Red and it's a lighter color than in the pics, it was hard to get a good pic of the color. The pickguard is called white ice and looks great. Weight is medium at 9.5 lbs, and it comes in a nice gigbag. The rectangle on the body in the back view is a clear factory sticker that hasn't been removed, there's nothing wrong with the finish there.

Price is $900 SOLD

Man, that MM price is tempting. I don't need a new bass though.
These are beauties, good luck selling them.

Boy I wish that sterling was still for sale. That is one cooling looking bass.

Would you be interested in a Warwick Corvette Double Buck 5-String (for the Bongo)?

i feel the same, but for the rapture not the bongo. I think bongo's are kinda ugly personally.

anywho, by the time i would sell a fender or two, i fear this'll be gone

No not at all. They're great basses, just not for me. Nothing wrong with stating my opinion =]
