Posting a new thread since I've decided to hang on to the Lava Pearl SR5 (and I can't change the title of my old thread). That is not a knock against this bass at all. Both are killer, but I just prefer the maple board and the color of the other a little more.
Natural Ash/Rosewood w/ (2) guards: got this from Lowfreqgeek (borrowing his pictures of it. condition is amazingly good and plays/sounds incredible.) Some live footage of this bass in concert can be found youtube...can provide links if requested.
Here are the specs:
*Made in 2002 or so
*Ash body
*maple neck/Rosewood board
*Single Humbucker, Ceramic, 3-way coil switching
*3-band EQ
*Tortoise (WD) and Black (EB) pickguards
*Original EBMM hardshell case
*I will include a set of black Dunlop Ball Strap Locks (not shown).
*Approximately 9.5-10lbs
The acoustic resonance of this bass is awesome. It really sings unplugged, and that translates well plugged in. The condition is excellent, too. Not a scratch on it, aside from 2 thumb rest holes on the front that were professionally repaired. See pics.
$950$850+shipping . Not looking to trade up with cash at this time.
