FS/FT: Musicman Stingray 5

Up for sale is my 2006 MM SR5, vintage sunburst, maple f/b, black pg, soft case only. Just installed new EB strings. There are a couple minor imperfections -- small dimple (ding, but not thru the finish) just above the pickguard, some chrome has come off on one end of the bridge and a couple of pickup poles. $850 plus packing and shipping from Sacramento, CA

Got this on a local trade for my high end bass amp, love the sound but I just can't get used to that extra string.

In fact, I've got another SR5 and that will be going on the block too.

Someone is interested in buying this bass but if the sale doesn't go thru, I may consider trading for a 4-stringer ONLY (Stingray, Bongo, Am Dlx Precision or Fender RB4)

I think that is vintage sunburst not black cherry burst.

Stryder, if you open a free account on Photobucket.com and load your photos there the site resizes them to work out here. Plus there doesn't seem to be too much degradation of the original photo. As an example look at the photos in my ad that's listed in my signature. If you need any help please PM me and I will walk you through it. It's the only way to go.

Hey and nice looking bass at a real decent price.

Whatever it is, at $850, it won't last long. I expect this one to be gone before Monday morning!

Tried to add more pics when I opened the thread but my account only limits me to 2 pics max. The system automatically resized the pics to thumbnail sizes which you can click to enlarge. Thanks for the tutorial, Jerry. BTW, there seems to be a problem with the link on your sig...I keep getting an "Address Not Found" prompt.
