FS/FT Nordy VJ(P)5

Every now and then you feel the need for change. Having made some purchases/trades lately, and GAS in general has this bass on the block...

Nordy VJ5. PJ five string bass. Alder body/Rosewood board Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. Great condition. Comes with hardshell SKB case (just like the new fender cases)

Great bass, but I would like to trade for one of the following:

-Primarily looking for a jazz style bass with maple board and ash body. Tops on the list are a Sadowsky, Nordstrand and LE-J. Ideally 34" scale

-Would also consider a millenia TD-1 plus cash or a U5 plus a lotta cash.

If I had to put a cash price on it, I would say $2200

I saw Calvin play a bass just like this at Lollapolloza, I was in the first row, near the mains, and the bass was unreal sounding in a large setting like that, too.

Looked like this one,
no pickguard, in lake placid blue.

Controls are Volume (pull for passive), Blend, Passive Tone (works in both modes). Bass, Mid (400hz, 800hz when pulled), Bass.

VERY flexible preamp. Great preamp, but this bass also sounds fantastic in passive mode

Is this a 34.5" scale? Would you happen to have any sound samples?

QUICK samples...
Bass with Monster cable (1/4") into a Digi002.
-No effects
-No edits
-No EQ
-Flat EQ on bass
-Recorded with Digital Performer 7.4 with a Mac G%
Basically, as dry as possible. Excuse the playing. Literally put together in less than 5 minutes from recording to the site. Let me know if you have any questions
