FS/FT: Nordy VJ5 w/ Exotic Top

Selling this one for a friend - he is a Supporting Member but just doesn't have as much time to manage the thread - so I'm stepping in.

Beautiful Nordy VJ5 - one of the best I've personally seen and it plays as good as it looks. From what I understand it was originally built as a fretless, but the frets and pickup covers were added by someone else and they did a killer job. Excellent to mint condition except for a ding on the forearm contour.

Info/specs:

* 34.5" scale
* Ash body w/ Quilted Redwood top.
* Maple neck w/ Birdseye Maple fingerboard.
* Big Singles pickups w/ matching Birdseye Maple covers.
* NEW NORDSTRAND 2-BAND PREAMP INSTALLED LAST THURSDAY, 5/6/10. Control: Volume, Blend, Tone, Treble/Bass.
* 8.42 lbs.
* Comes with Gig Bag (I have to confirm what type of Gig Bag it will come - rest assured it will be a good and high quality bag)

Ok, this one is back on the block even better than before. This just came from Carey's shop last Thursday and is now sporting a brand new Nordstrand 2-Band preamp.

I will have to double-check the new control layout, if it changed.

EDIT:
The owner does not recall who did the fret job (the previous owner had it done), but he said Carey commented last week that it was done well... Hopefully that helps.
