FINAL PRICE DROP - $1850 SHIPPED.
Several years old (5 or 6, I think) and very lightly used...I'm the original owner and never really got going with the upright vibe. Total playing time maybe 20-30 hours, gigged once. So...it's in fantastic shape, the only difference between mine a brand new one is the slight change in pickup mix -- the newer ones have a blend pot instead of a 3-way switch (between bridge and magnetic pickups). These are going for upwards of $2700 new and mine is one tiny blemish away from new condition (you can see it in the pic of the body, below the bridge and between the E and A strings -- also a closeup pic second from the bottom). Visually it is gorgeous, tiger maple on rock maple and ebony compound radiused fretboard with dots. A joy to play, especially if you're making the transition from electric to upright. I'm asking
$1850 shipped, price is firm and payment by postal money order or PayPal e-check only. I'll consider a sale outside of the 48 states but additional $$ for shipping will have to come from the buyer. Comes with stand and soft cases (one for the bass & one for the stand). Still has the original strings. The two pickups sets give it a really huge tonal range, from a spot-on electric fretless sound to a traditional upright sound (you can get even closer with some actual upright strings).
Trades -- due to recent purchases I'm now looking mainly at a Sadowsky vintage type (maple fb preferred), though I'll think about whatever you've got. A Roscoe Beck IV (also maple fb) plus cash would be tempting. Also would consider an NS WAV series plus cash. PM me directly with offers, please.
