I purchased my Oly White P-Bass from GC last Labor Day weekend. It has a late 07 serial number but it is the new style American Standard P-Bass with the new bridge, nicer neck, no S1 and the new awesome SKB Fender case. It plays and looks great. I took off the stock Tort (copper shielded) guard the day I got it and installed a copper foil shielded Black White Black guard. The Tort guard still has the the "New American Standard" sticker and clear plastic film on it. It has some D'addario Half Wounds on it now and will also come with a set of slightly used Sadowsky flats cut to string through the body.
It's in great shape and plays wonderfully. I just miss the bridge pup of my other basses. If I don't sell or trade, it's off to the luthier.
