Up for sale is my not-used-enough Ovation Celebrity Acoustic. It's a Korean-made Celebrity Deluxe model CC274. Ovation info says this model was offered between '91 and '95. I've had it since '98 and have mostly just used it for practice. I have just replaced the D-string tuner with a new Gotoh, cleaned it all up and removed the mojo and any tarnish from the fretboard and frets, and strung it up with some new 45-100 Fender phosphor-bronze strings. Comes with its original hard case, a new 9v duracell battery (rather than leaving a battery in the preamp), and the key to adjust the truss rod.
There's not a whole lot of pricing history out for these on the market or on the 'Bay, but they were between 850 and 900 new back in the age of grunge. I'm hoping to get $350 local or $375 shipped for it, or I'd consider trades for a decent Jazz. I'm in PA, zip 17109 and would meet someone within 50 miles or so to swap out or sell. It's like a B778 with a $2000 discount!
