FS/FT: Peavey B Quad 4 - immaculate, teal blue

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!!!

Now that I have captured a unicorn (my B Quad 5), I don't need to keep the cash tied up in my B Quad 4 any more.

It is in immaculate condition. Teal blue. All the pickups work correctly. The pan and vol pots on the back for the piezo pickups work and are not scratchy. Pots on the front work and are not scratchy.

There is no bubbling on the back of the neck or chips in the lacquer at the edges of the fretboard, as is common with this model.

Graphite neck made by Modulus for Peavey.

Weight is 9.0 pounds on my digital bathroom scale.

Will ship in the original hardshell case with a copy of the owner's manual.

$1400, shipped in the CONUS, paid via Paypal.

More pics at: Peavey B Quad pictures by stuartv - Photobucket

If you want the finest example you can get of the most bitchinest 4-string bass Peavey ever made, it is time to get a hammer and find your piggy bank.

And without further ado....

Forgot to mention trade interests.

No 4 strings - unless it's a late 60s or early 70s black Fender Jazz with a maple board and black blocks and binding - then we can talk.

Only 5 strings. Strongly prefer maple or ebony boards. Love matching headstocks. Colors that are some variation on red or black (including cherry burst). No blue, green, white, blonde, natural, 3TSB, orange, purple, yellow, or tobacco.

Strongly prefer Made in America, but I would consider the right Skyline and cash or the right Dingwall.

Stringray 5 HS (no H or HH)
Fender Roscoe Beck V

In other words, I'll probably be holding out for a cash sale.

Stunning! These are, IMO, THE best Peavey has ever made. Had one in the mid 90's, regret selling it to this day. PM'd.

Yes. Yes, I do. But, it's time to cut down to just the creme de la creme. No need to hoard all the good stuff. Time to spread the wealth around. LOL!

The B-Quad 4 is the ONLY fretted bass I've owned since I bought mine in '96. Freakin' love it!

These are stunning for doing very long legato ballads etc...

When setup correctly you can get 45 second sustain.

Bump for cool man Stu -- an honest guy

Gorgeous bass, if it were a 5'er it would be on its way to California.

I'll just say I definitely paid more than this for my 5'er and it's not in quite as good shape cosmetically.

Free bump! Awesome bass, I have one in a 5 string and not many basses with these kinds of features.
