FS/FT - Peavey Cirrus 4 Bubinga/Walnut w/ OHSC

GAS has continued since I got this very nice 4 string Cirrus, and I can't help but feel that it is a little redundant as I also have a very nice 5 string Cirrus in the same wood combo. When I received the bass from TB'er Mike, it was set up in BEAD tuning. I've since set it up with an EADG (.105-.045) set of nickel lo-riders, and it plays and sounds great with the same nut that it had on it when I got it. I'll include a Fender 5 string set so you can set it up with new strings in either tuning. It has a modern, clean tone with a distinctive midrange. 35" scale, 24 frets. It has the standard Cirrus 3 band preamp, and the Peavey VFL pickups.

Judging from the limited amount of info on dating these Peaveys, I believe it is a '98 or '99. It has some minor wear that one would expect on a bass that has been played, but never abused. There are some superficial marks that are hard to photograph, but overall the condition is awesome.

For sale, $825 shipped ConUS, or $800 shipped in Canada.

For trades, I might be interested in certain fretless basses, such as Cirrus, Fender, Warwick, or EBMM. No trades that would require me to put in a bunch of extra cash.

Feel free to run trades by me, or ask me any questions. Now on to pics, or go to my photobucket album for more pics.

I know you said Fender 5 strings, but it's worth a try:

Interested in a 4-string fretless Fender Jazz? (Japanese, 1988, with an unlined neck, black body) -- thing is excellent condition and appears to be rarely used.

If only...

If this was a 5-string I would likely buy it today! I sold my 5er a few years ago and have been regretting it ever since...
Where are you in Canada?

Grande Prairie, Alberta. Approximately 4 hour drive, north of Edmonton. If I ever decide to totally liquidate my bass gear, maybe I'll see if you're still looking for a Cirrus 5, as my 5-er is basically this bass, with an extra string.

"Got my eye on something on the board" bump. New price is $800 shipped to CONUS!

When I phoned Peavey support, I was told this bass shipped in 1998.
