Exclamation FS/FT Peavey G-Bass in Black Sparkle - $350

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got this from warriorjoe, but I just can't get into it, which sucks, because I REALLY wanted to dig this bass!! Oh well, time to pass it on to someone who will love it!

The bass is in great shape and sounds very good. People aren't kidding that these basses are great deals and nails some of that modulus/zon vibe at a fraction of the cost! I should know, I've owned several modulus basses as well as several zons!

The bass did not come to me in a gig bag, but will be shipped to you in an old Trace Elliot T-Bass gig bag.

Trades I'm interested in...Voodoo Lab PP2, Eventide timefactor, eventide pitchfactor. That's about it. Maybe an SX or Squier plus cash...something like that.

$350

Pictures!

Is it the 35" scale you don't like?? I loved the one I had. If I didn't have an office full of basses, I'd love to jump on this. I'd like to put a Darkstar in one

Nah, 35" scale basses don't bother me much. The only thing that felt "weird" to me was how well it balanced on a strap. Weird, I know.

Other than that, the bass sounds and feels great, just not the tone I was wanting.

Trades added to original post.

Looks like a good mean funk machine.
Worth the $$, can swap the pu fairly easily for Bart etc.......or switch the pre amp.

I just did the Millennium preamp upgrade on my G-Bass and love it even more now. Being able to dial that mid-frequency center around to find just the right spot to boost the mids lets me get exactly that sound that I can usually only hear in my head.

The addition of a Darkstar would be amazing!

Had two people back out on this bass now. I edited my trades I'm interested in and am bumping this up. This is a heck of a deal for this bass!

I know trying to get rid of my '89 Fury but then again I may just keep it to have a PBass around.
