I polished her and put her in the case after I stopped playing her and didn't take her out till the morning I took these photos. Just so different and amazing and the tone is really unique. Thanks for the kind words... |

| | Registered Schmoozer. | | | | | Intriguing looking bass. I'll ask my standard questions:
- Scale length?
- String spacing at nut and bridge?
- How's it balance on a strap? (I.e. will it stay where you put it if you angle up, or drift toward the horizontal?)
Also, is it a fully passive instrument or is there an active preamp?
Any tonal/playing impressions? (Since you like vintage, using a Fender as a reference point might make sense.)
It is a striking looking instrument for sure (dig the lightning bolt headstock!).

35" Scale Length
String Spacing is 17mm bridge
String Spacing at 1 3/4 nut
Balance is perfect on this one. I have never had an issue with it, but I really only played this one at home in my studio. When I get home I will throw on a strap and dance around a bit like the punk days of the past
This bass is active and has the active preamp
Tonal quality and impressions...
I would say this is a more modern tone, it has great pop on the slap side, but the finger play on this one is very clean also. It really gives you the mids to cut the mix without compromising your good mix. I have played quite a few and I would say that this fell somewhere between my Elrick New Jazz Standard and my F Bass. Its like a modern American Fender jazz meets something a little more boutique like a Ken Smith. I hope that helps.
The head stock reminded me of a Brown and a Carl Thompson. Just a real luthiers touch on this one. I don't imagine it will last long just because it is unique and you don't see a lot of them.
Cheers! |

If I had the cash to spare, I'd happily pick this one up to compliment mine. Got mine strung E - C, but it also sounded great with a low B. Really wish I had the $...
Good luck with the sale! |

Pelosi's are the only bass that I always dig the back more than the front ...
That's pure bass porn right here.

I have talked to a few others who have had these and had nothing but positive things to say. i love this one and if I was doing the cover band stuff and modern stuff I would still be playing and keeping this one. |
