This is the infamous white Tobias Basic 5. Serial #17xx which is the era where Mike Tobias original crew was building basses under Gibson ownership during the transition so this is the real deal..... now that we got the history out of the way lets move on to the good stuff. This bass has been owned by several Tbers so Im sure many can attest for the tone and playability of this bass.
Made late 91 or early 92
Maple body
Maple/rosewood 5pc neck
34" scale
Bartolini pickups and preamp
Comes with a hardshell case.
Price $2200 $2100 or trade for a Smith 5 0r 6. Willing to trade down for other basses.
