FS/FT RARE Pedulla LIMITED EDITION SOLID AAAAA Quilt Buzz 5 w/birdseye board

This is not your Grandpa's Pedulla. This is a LIMITED EDITION AAAAA SOLID (yes SOLID) QUILT with upgraded Birdseye Maple fingerboard covered with the famous Pedulla epoxy finish (was almost $1k just for the board). Nicest example of the KING OF FRETLESS that I have ever seen.

I am the original owner, I was a Pedulla dealer and kept the best one for myself and this is it. Never gigged, never rehearsed, comes w/Pedulla hard case. 9.9 on a 1-10 scale.

This is a truly special piece.

$3225 or BEST OFFER and buyer pays shipping.

The tone on this is phenomenal. I truly believe that MAPLE is the very best tone for fretless (it is not my tone of preference for a fretted bass, but for fretless there is no equal).

The maple board really allows harmonics to sing (anywhere you want them). Still has the same epoxy resin coating and this one is a dream to play. I had to go through EVERY limited edition billet Mike had to find this one.

It's interesting... the neck on my GaL is SOLID Birdseye Maple.

Out of curiosity, what are the weight and string spacing at the bridge?

17.5, I would need to weigh it to be sure but it is not particularly heavy. I'd estimate 8+, will try and weigh but bath scales vary widely. BUMP

Thanks for the info!

FWIW, I bought an inexpensive digital scale in a sporting goods store; they're normally used to weigh fish. I hang my basses from a tuning machine using the hook supplied with the scale: Quick, easy, and accurate to 1/10th of a pound (switchable to metric).
