FS/FT: Really nice Spector Legend Classic in Bubbinga (early ser#)

Sign in to disble this ad
EARLY MODEL, ONLY 4 #'s IN THE SERIAL #
I like this Spector sound a lot...it's full but well defined, Classic tones and modern ones also. Note the Tone Pump Jr feature! A really nice preamp! Action is excellent.
The contour of this Spector body is so comfortable to play. The Natural Bubbinga is rich in color and includes a can of Warwick Wax. No blemishes at all.
The photos look great and represent the bass well. So why sell? I got a great deal on a Peavey Millennium and I'd like to have something different to go with the Peavey, (note my sig).

Here are the specs:

NECK CONSTRUCTION: 3-Piece Maple
FINGERBOARD: Rosewood
NUMBER OF FRETS: 24
SCALE LENGTH: 34"
RADIUS: 16"
NECK INLAYS: Pearl Dot
WIDTH AT NUT: 1.56"
STRING SPACING
AT BRIDGE: 0.70"
TRUSS HEX KEY SIZE: 4mm
COLOR: Beautiful brown Bubbinga
BRIDGE: SPECTOR® Die Cast Locking Bridge
BRIDGE HEX KEY SIZE: 2mm
The Black Beauty strings sound terrific on this bass!!

TONE CIRCUIT: SPECTOR® TonePump Jr.™
CIRCUIT TYPE: 9-Volt Active - bass and treble
BRIDGE PICKUP: EMG SSD™
NECK PICKUPS: EMG SSD™
PICKUP TYPE: Passive - Dual Coil
Designed for Spector by EMG®
They say the SSD™ (for Stuart Spector Designs) Pickups have a little more midrange than EMG® HZ™ passive humbuckers, but I cannot tell the difference.

Looking for $400 shipped inside the continental US. paypal only. I use Fed-Ex for shipping.

Trades I'm interested in:
Anything cool, Peavey/Yamaha preferred, but not necessary.
OR any 35" scale, as I'd like to string my next bass B E A D.

Thanks for your interest...
Hawk

Thanks. I've had several of these and I do tend to vary a lot in weight.
