Bass (+minor cash adjustment) has officially been traded away for a Stingray 4Hp.
Recently purchased as new old stock. Overall, I'd say it's in excellent shape. Biggest problem is probably that it's missing a knob. I mean, $5 fix, but no longer "all original hardware". No major dings or scratches, but there's a minor spot on the back - it's either a surface scuff or a bit of gunk (it appears black).
It plays pretty smooth, but to be honest, I'd take it in for a setup if I were keeping it.
I'm looking primarily to fund a Big Al or Bongo purchase - or trade this + cash for one if somebody were so inclined, though I'm not terribly optimistic about that happening.
I'm open to other trades (basses only) - Casady, Rumblekat, other hollow-bodies, P-Bass Special, off-beat types like Eastwood or Italia...if you've got something, let me know. I might get impulsive and take it.
I'm really bad at this sort of thing, but I think $650 shipped CONUS is a decent starting point. I've seen them go for anywhere between $300 (***?) and $850, so I guess we'll see. (FWIW, if it comes down to a choice between selling it for $300 and keeping it, I'll be keeping it.)
