FS/FT: Rob Allen Mouse 30

I absolutely love this thing but just never get a chance to play it in the bands I am in these days.

Rob Allen Mouse 30 with a very nicely figured walnut top over a chambered Alder body. Goncalo Alves lined fretboard. Ships in the original Protec Contego case.

$1750 shipped to your door. Trades: I am looking for just about any Nordy. I am open to other interesting trades. 5 or 6 string only. But, cash is KING!

Wow. Another nice RA for sale. Wish I could decide between an MB-2 and a Mouse. Almost everyone says the Mouse is the most upright sounding of the two, but scale length is a concern.

Beautiful bass by the way...

I've owned 3 Rob Allen basses. Fretted and fretless Mouse and a Deep 5. This one was the best sounding and much easier to play than the Deep. So I kept this one. I was playing in a band at the time where I needed the upright tone quite often. I really don't need it these days. So I'm letting it go. . I was really surprised at how easy it was to play. Scale length has never been an issue with it

I played this bass last spring an it is fantastic. You'd never believe such monster EB tone could be had in such a small, light instrument.

I dont think the scale length is much an issue on these basses at all. If I had the bread right now I'd snap this bass up for sure! Gorgeous instrument! Good luck with the sale.

Maybe I should just take a chance. I did with a Roscoe, it didn't really work and I was able to sell it for what I had into it in a day. Probably could do the same with this.
