there is one laying in the gold velvet case....and boy she's a beautiful mousey!

If there is a bass that could get me back to a 4 string, this may someday be it.

Damn. Why do I look at these threads. That is beautiful. Wish I was more confident about the short scale thing - playing wise not tone wise. I actually think from the sound clips I've heard that these sound more like an upright than the MB or Deep series.

I can't believe it's still here..tempting me....

Looks just like this bass...

YouTube - Dan Rasmussen (Niels Bugge Kvartet) - Blues In the Closet [2007]

I am SO tempted. It sounds more like an upright than my EUB did...almost sounds better than a "real" amplified upright bass.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
The tone of this bass is nothing short of amazing.
I play it at church on a fairly regular basis and every time I take it the sound guy and the worship leader can not stop talking about the tone.
Only reason to sell her is I an going to go back to a real upright for fretless work.

hmmmmmmm --- if I can't find an omnibass soon this will go right to the top of the list of alternatives. I'm a big admirer of Rob Allen's work.
