Here is an absolutely beautiful example of a fine hand-made Roscoe bass. This is a exhibition grade flamed Redwood top. Body is two layers of ash with a line of Spanish Cedar between. Maple/Purple heart neck with maple fingerboard.
Bartolini preamp with 3 band pre and push/pull mid shift. Bartolini pickups. Sounds incredible. Everything you'd expect from a Roscoe.
Roscoe hardshell case.
Bass is in excellent condition. Looks basically brand new. You'd be hard pressed to find anything wrong with it. This is one of two Roscoe's I own. Guess I'm just curious what else is out there. I reserve the right to pull this down if I change my mind here and decide to keep this in the stable.
For trades let me know what you've got. Five string instruments only please. Would be interested in a Roscoe with fingerboard other than maple.
That is beautiful. I played an SKB 3005 today. They are the best feeling neck ever. I may even man up again and just deal with the 35" scale.
That's one of the things so cool about Roscoe basses. They don't feel like a 35" scale neck for some reason. I was a die hard 34" inch only guy but always wanted to try Roscoe... So I did and now own 2.

Yeah, I had an SKB for a couple weeks. I could tell it was a 35" but it was the closest to feeling like a 34" that I have tried. I'm tempted by this, but people say the Century body style - with the upper horn closer to the 12th fret - gives an even better 34" type feel. The neck is so comfy, and the B string is the best I have tried.
This is one of the nicest Roscoe's I've seen though.
