Hello all,
For many years this was my main player. Bought it in 1999 or 2000 the year is about 1999 or 2000 as well. (can't really remember the exact year) Lately I've only been playing upright and when on a rare electric gig go to a 4 string. I loved this bass for a long time and have over 1,000 gigs on it, however, I'm just not a 6 string guy anymore and think I want a good old Fender again. The tone of this bass can be best described as very acoustic, open and woody on the top end and mids with plenty of focused bottom. Not selling it for any other reason than I don't play it anymore. It
needs to be played!
Don't really need the dough and would probably rather negotiate a trade. Who knows, just ask.

• Also will consider a trade for a vintage or vintage flavored 4 string, especially Fender J or P. No fretless basses on my gas list, sorry.
The finish has an issue and there is some general wear from years and years of solid gigging but it's one heck of a player!
Disclaimer: Not sure of the specifics of the finish but, it seems there was some moisture in the wood or the grain filler used on the redwood top, thus little white spots and clouding has appeared. I am no expert on this subject. Perhaps Gard can give some insight.
