FS FT Roscoe SKB 3006 Mint condition, Demeter preamp
Now asking USD2100 or nearest offer. We're moving next month and I'd like to sell before that.
Shipping to USA is a over USD200 but I'd take an offer of USD2250 shipped - so I guess
I'm now asking USD2250 shipped to USA.

Nice bass in any case.

If this is against the rules, I'll gladly delete the thread.
edit: The shipping cost will be about USD200, insured. There's never been one single incident of an instrument I've packed sustaining damage in transit! So it's not risky, really, just takes a week and a bit more.

I've seen others do it too...it may not even be an issue. I wouldn't have seen the post in the international classifieds, as I rarely go there. I say leave it alone for now.
Good luck with your sale.

For what it's worth, the Roscoe Demeter is IMO the best pre for a fretted Roscoe. I custom ordered one from Demeter for my new fretted Roscoe (replaced the Audere). Glassy highs, growly musical mids and smooth clean lows!
.....and the Roscoe 6's play like a dream!

Please, don't try to lowball me - this electronics-woods combo is hard to come by! Another Roscoehead said he wished he'd chosen these woods instead of more exotic options, as his bass didn't have enough authority and grunt for his needs... Please visit Roscoe sub-forums for lots of sound clips to hear the differences!
I'm contemplating taking out the Demeter pre and putting it into the Roscoe I'm keeping. I'd lower the asking price for a buyer who wants the Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp. |
