FS/FT: Sadowsky Metro RV4 - Seafoam Green!

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a feeler to see what interest I get. I love this bass, but honestly it rarely gets played, and tends to sit in the case most of the time. I don't really want to sell it, but I need some house repairs and it's just hard to justify such a nice bass sitting around unused. Bass weighs 8.7 lbs. On the lighter side for a Metro. Does have VTC. Comes with the standard Metro case that's seen better days but still works fine. Pickguard was originally white but I sprayed it copper metal. Finish is very durable you really can't tell it wasn't made that way.

Seafoam Green is a color no longer offered, and not that common. Kind of unusual.

I would consider a trade + cash for lightweight basses >8 lbs. Just need a deal with a bit of cash involved.

I contacted Kevin at the Sadowsky shop and he said the bass was a 2008 model from the serial number.

Straight sale I would like $1650 shipped. Any trade offers would need to be 4 string/fretted only.

Here are pics:

I'll get some better pics taken in outside light, but these are the ones I had on my computer. Seafoam green is a bit difficult to capture correctly indoors.

Okay, here's a couple of new pics. Took this outside today in the afternoon light, but I think the indoor pics probably capture the color the best. It does change depending on the light.

I know seafoam is a tough color to capture, but that is a really nice looking bass....and BTW nice color combo with the copper pick guard...good work.

Shouldn't last long...pretty bass, good price, 8.7 lbs...whats not to love?

If I didn't have a Will Lee coming my way....

Thanks. It's really is an awesome bass. If I didn't have the roof repairs that I needed I would never sell the bass.

Not sure how to tell. Does it hum when you have only one pickup on and you're near flourescent lights?

Not that I've noticed. I've never heard any hum out of this bass, ever.

If everything is still stock, they would be hum cancelling.

Everything is stock, so apparently that's what they are. Thanks.

I played this bass a few weeks ago and it sounds killer and I'd snag it up in a heartbeat if it had another string. Good luck selling this one Pat.

You know, this thing is really interesting to me. I'd love to check it out. If it doesn't move very quickly, I might set something up with you to see it.

Just wanted to add that this bass comes with a pretty new set of DR Hi-Beams and a brand new battery.

No, unfortunately I've not had a chance to record anything with this bass.
