I have this bass few months from now. I got it on a trade, upgraded the pre (now with VTC), change the pups to SC and bought a Sadowsky portabag too!

The reason I'm selling this bass is that I wanna venture again on fivers and a more modern sound. It is a lovely bass thats for sure and I will prolly keep it if I have the dough!

This bass is in a good shape but its not perfect.. 8/10 if you gonna ask me! There's some wear on the finish of the back of the neck and a nick/ding below the VTC pot(treble on the picture) that I'm not sure if gonna show on the pics but I have to tell I don't wanna surprise anyone with those kind of things..

Here are the specs:
Sadowsky NYC 4 J/J
Ash Body/Morado FB(can't get it on metro w/ 60's spacing)
60's spacing
DR Sunbeams
Sadowsky pre w/ VTC
Sadowsky Single Coil
Sadowsky D-tuner
7.6lbs

Specific trade list:
1. Roscoe 5
2. Dingwall 5
3. Sadowsky 5(J/J or P/J)
4. Lakland 55-02(barts) or 55-01

Will let this thing go for $2400!

The trade value of the bass when I got it is $2200 but if you think of it the Sadowsky portabag was a $189 upgrade, add the VTC($75) and the Sadowsky SC's that's almost $300 value without the professional installation!

I do believe a UV-70 Metro can be had with Ash/Morado.

I also would like to see pics.

I think (but am not sure) that MrDOS posted the pics of the white bass above to demonstrate that there are, in fact, Metros with ash/morado, contrary to the OPs original post. So the white bass is *not* the bass for sale. But I'm really not sure.

Pics are up! The picture doesn't have the VTC on it but it does have it now..

I'm not sure about the weight. I weighted it on my bathroom scale and it's 7.6lbs..
